An adverb is a word that modifies or describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb. It provides more information about how, when, where, or to what degree something happens. Adverbs often end in -ly, but that’s not always the case.
क्रिया विशेषण भन्नाले यस्तो शब्दलाई जनाइन्छ जसले क्रिया (verb), विशेषण (adjective) वा अर्को क्रिया विशेषण (adverb) लाई विशेषता दिन्छ। यसले कसरी, कहिले, कहाँ, वा कति मात्रामा केही हुन्छ भन्ने थप जानकारी दिन्छ।
क्रिया विशेषण प्रायः “-ly” मा अन्त्य हुन्छ (जस्तै: quickly, softly), तर सधैं त्यस्तै हुँदैन।
