1. Simple Present – used to describe habits, facts, and general truths.
“Present tense” लाई नेपालीमा वर्तमान काल भनिन्छ। यो काल कुनै कार्य बारम्बार हुने, वा सामान्य सत्य जनाउने घटनाहरूलाई जनाउन प्रयोग गरिन्छ।
Oranges grow on trees. (fact)
सुन्तलाहरू रुखमा फल्छन्।
I always drink tea in the morning. (habit)
म सधैं बिहान चिया पिउँछु।
2. For fixed scheduled events समयतालिका वा निश्चित कार्यक्रमहरू
The bus leaves at 9 PM.
बस राति ९ बजे छुट्छ।
School starts at 10 o’clock.
स्कूल १० बजे सुरु हुन्छ।
3. Permanent situation : When a situation is long-term or unlikely to change, it is expressed using the Simple Present Tense.
लामो समयदेखि स्थिर रहेको वा परिवर्तन नहुने अवस्था जनाउँछ। यस्तो अवस्थामा पनि Simple Present Tense प्रयोग गरिन्छ।
She lives in the USA.
उनी अमेरिकामा बस्छिन्।
I work as a teacher.
मैले शिक्षकको रूपमा काम गर्छु।
